Christmas is a season of thanksgiving, and as gesture of our thanksgiving, ACPACI is continuously sponsoring the annual outreach activity with its adopted special children under the care of the Oblate Sisters of St. Francis Xavier. It was held last November 30, 2021, in San Antonio Valley 1, Parañaque City. The Social Involvement Committee successfully managed the activity through the assistance of Ms. Edna L. Constantino, Director for SOASP and Scholarship. This year 2021 is ACPACI’s 10th year anniversary of continuous friendship with the community of special friends and the sisters.
Every year the children were excited to party with ACPACI officers but due to limitations of pandemic, only parents were invited to receive the Christmas gift bag (composed of spaghetti pack, cheese, biscuits, corned beef, luncheon meat, ovaltine and powdered milk).
The usual Jollibee Chicken Joy served during the party was packed for take home composed of two orders per child to be shared with sibling. Jollibee Hotdog Snacks were also served to parents and sisters after the gift giving.
A total of thirty six (36) parents were present during the gift giving. The activity started with praying of the Holy Rosary. A special dance number was presented by the parents and sisters as expression of gratitude for ACPACI’s generosity for the past 10 years.
In behalf of ACPACI, Edna L. Constantino expressed ACPACI’s message of thanksgiving for the opportunity to share with our special friends. Mother Celina also expressed her gratitude to ACPACI for its untiring support and generosity and ended the activity with closing remarks and prayers.
A cash donation was also given by ACPACI to the congregation which was very much appreciated by the community. And again, they are looking forward for our 11th year of outreach activity with more games, prizes and more bonding moments.
