Joining the turnover of donations last 4 December 2021 were ACPACI President Walter Abella, ACPACI Director for Social Involvement Florencia Gorospe, PAMA President Lolita Tang, ACPACI Chairperson for Social Involvement Noel Ang, Rotarian and ACPACI Chairperson for Regulatory and Special Projects Kurt Kenneth Dayrit, and White Cross Executive Director Mely Reluya.
White Cross Orphanage, located at 276 Santolan Road, San Juan, is a child-caring agency that provides temporary shelter for children who are 6 years old and below. Accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), it gives refuge to children of unwed mothers, indigent families, tuberculosis patients, mentally or physically-incapacitated parents, prisoners, or victims of incest or rape.
“These children are provided with medical assistance, educational care, and financial support to help them in their early years. As of this writing, there are around 62 children staying in the institution waiting to be adopted by loving foster parents."
