Last March 24, 2013, The Association of CPAs in Commerce and Industry, in coordination with the Parish of the Lord of the Divine Mercy, had successfully conducted a medical and dental mission in Sitio Lambak, Quezon City.
There were about 170 children and adult who benefited from the free medical and dental services provided by a group of nurses, doctors and dentists, who unselfishly devoted their time to share their voluntary service. ACPACI has been a partner of this noble project for almost 10 years now; it pledged a cash donation to subsidize the medicines given to the registered patients during that day. Indeed, the organization continues to sow the seeds of kindness and happiness among the beneficiaries of this outreach program.
Present during the community work were the organization’s Social Involvement Committee headed by its Liaison Director, Ms. Edna L. Constantino and Committee Chairperson, Ms. Lolita Tang. Other officers who were in attendance were ACPACI President, Ms. Consuelo Cadelina; Directors, Ms. Cynthia Campos and Ms. Feliciana Santos; and Chairperson for Membership, Ms. Janice Mahinay. The parish was likewise represented by its dedicated members of the Social Ministry led by Ms. Flor Junia.
