CHRISTMAS OUTREACH ACTIVITY
DECEMBER 07, 2013

To celebrate a more meaningful Christmas season, the ACPACI family visited for the second time last December 7, 2013, the convent of the The Oblates Sisters of Francis Xavier in Paranaque City where a group of special children are being given special care and attention by the Sisters.

As promised, ACPACIans returned and sponsored the Oblates "2013 Christmas Gift Giving" program. The activity started with a thanksgiving mass officiated by Fr. Regner Dequena of the St Joseph Parish (Bamboo Organ), Las Pinas. Afterwards the children, assisted by their family members, were brought to the Social Hall for a day of fun, games and excitement. The employees of Philippine Duplicators, Inc., headed by Ms. Erly Valencia, handled the program and brought prizes for the games as well. The entire activity involved a non-stop singing and dancing, with the kids, the Sisters and ACPACI officers themselves showcasing their talents.

ACPACI President, Ms. Connie Cadelina and Executive Director, Ms. Winnie Cuico, shared their inspiring insights and Christmas messages to the parents and family members of Special Children. The highlight of the event was the distribution of Christmas grocery bags to the thankful children, parents and Sisters by the ACPACIans. The community of the Oblate Sisters of St. Francis Xavier expressed their appreciation for the generosity of ACPACI.

Again, the Sisters and the special children requested the Association to sponsor their Christmas Party and Gift Giving next year. And with hearts filled with joy and benevolence, ACPACI could not say no to these angels sent by God.
