The Association of Certified Public Accountants in Commerce and Industry (ACPACI) recently paid a courtesy visit to the PhilHealth Regional Office NCR South to explore opportunities for collaboration in advancing compliance, good governance, and professional development within the business community.

ACPACI was warmly received by Ms. Cheryl W. Peña, Branch Manager; Ms. Annabelle R. Llanto, Social Insurance Officer III; and Mr. Benito H. Menorias Jr. of the Collection Section.

Representing ACPACI were President Marvin L. Madrigalejo, Executive Vice President Maria Nerissa A. Rosales, VP for Partnership with Professional Organizations and Other Stakeholders Meljorie A. Cruz, VP for Membership Development, Retention & Chapter Affiliations Lujer P. Danao, and Professional Organizations Coordination Chair Atty. Tristan Lopez.

The meeting served as an opportunity to introduce ACPACI's mission and advocacies, discuss emerging compliance concerns affecting businesses—particularly SMEs—and exchange ideas on how both organizations can work together to promote financial stewardship, governance, and social protection.

Among the highlights of the discussion was ACPACI's invitation for PhilHealth to participate as a resource organization at the upcoming ACPACI SME Summit, where current PhilHealth developments and compliance updates can be shared with business owners, finance professionals, and accounting practitioners.

ACPACI extends its sincere appreciation to the PhilHealth NCR South team for the warm welcome, meaningful dialogue, and openness to future collaboration. We look forward to building a strong partnership that empowers businesses through education, compliance, and responsible governance.
