On October 1, 2025, the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Commerce and Industry (ACPACI) officers met with SEC Chairman Francis Edralin Lim at the SEC headquarters in Makati for a courtesy visit. Led by VP for Partnerships Meljorie Atienza-Cruz, the delegation thanked the SEC for the opportunity to connect and introduced their Board of Directors.
The group discussed ways to support the SEC’s efforts in promoting regulatory compliance and governance. ACPACI also requested the SEC’s participation as resource speakers for future events to share updates and requirements with the accounting profession, particularly in the Commerce and Industry sector. ACPACI President Atty. Aristeo Cruz presented a plaque of appreciation to Chairman Lim for his insights and commitment to transparency and good governance. The ACPACI delegation included:
