As part of its mission to build communities, ACPACI has pledged its support to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources' (DENR) Forest for Life project.

ACPACI President Aristeo Cruz, together with VPs Cecille Carandang and Ofel Oroceo, attended the launch of the program on February 18, 2025 at the Forest Management Bureau in Quezon City. The event was participated in by various private organizations and government agencies, including PICPA.

The project aims to plant at least three million fast-growing indigenous tree species nationwide by 2028, contributing to DENR’s broader initiative to restore critical forest ecosystems, conserve biodiversity, and enhance water resources while combating climate change.

In her message during the dialogue, DENR Secretary Hon. Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga emphasized that the program is aligned with the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028, which seeks to improve environmental quality, establish livable communities and provide access to green spaces.

The launch aims to identify opportunities and actionable recommendations to accelerate the program’s success, a goal that ACPACI fully supports.
