On February 14, 2025, the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) conducted its Induction of Officers ceremony, gathering leaders and representatives from esteemed organizations, including the Association of CPAs in Commerce and Industry (ACPACI). Representing ACPACI at this prestigious event were National President Atty. Aristeo Cruz and Vice President for Partnership with Professional Organizations and Other Linkages, Meljorie Atienza-Cruz.
The program commenced with a warm welcome from Ms. Catherine Jalandoni, Executive Director of ICD, followed by insightful opening remarks delivered by Mr. Senen L. Matoto, FICD, President of ICD.
Highlights of the ceremony included: An inspiring message by Dr. Jesus Estanislao, leading the induction of ICD Trustees. The induction of Committee Chairpersons was officiated by Atty. Benedicta Du-Baladad, FICD, Chairwoman of ICD. New Members' Induction led by Mr. Donald Patrick Lim, FICD. Honoring the immediate past officers, with recognition led by Chairwoman Atty. Benedicta Du-Baladad.
The event concluded with an impactful keynote address from Mr. Romeo L. Bernardo, Monetary Board Member of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, underscoring the significance of strong governance and leadership in driving national progress.
